Who we are

Neon Media operates this website. For questions about this policy or a request about your personal information, email hello@neonmedia.ca.

Information you choose to share

If you use the contact form, it asks for your name, work email, and message. You can also provide your company, phone number, and the services you are interested in. If you contact us by email or another channel, we receive the information you choose to include.

Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information through the website form.

How we use information

We use inquiry details to reply, understand the project you have in mind, prepare a proposal, provide requested services, and manage our business relationship. We may also use limited technical information to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website, and keep records where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

We do not use contact-form submissions to add you to a marketing list.

Contact form and service providers

The contact form is processed by Web3Forms and forwarded to Neon Media so we can respond. Web3Forms describes its own collection, processing, infrastructure, and retention practices in its privacy policy; it currently says form submission data may be retained for up to three years, subject to the plan and earlier deletion. Information may also pass through providers that host, secure, or deliver this website and our business email.

Analytics, cookies, and local storage

This website loads Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to help us understand site use and manage measurement tags. Depending on configuration, analytics may receive information such as page and session activity, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google Analytics may use a first-party cookie named _ga to distinguish users and sessions. See Google's description of Analytics data collection.

The site also stores your display-mode preference in your browser's local storage. You can clear local storage or manage cookies through your browser settings. You can also review Google's Analytics opt-out options. Blocking cookies may not disable every form of measurement.

When information is shared

We share information with service providers only as needed to receive and respond to inquiries, deliver the website, protect it from misuse, and run our business. We may also disclose information if required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety, or security of people and services. Providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, under their own infrastructure and terms.

We do not sell contact-form submissions.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active client relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal or security requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Service providers may apply their own retention periods; see their policies for details.

We use reasonable safeguards for information under our control. No website, email system, or method of internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to ask what personal information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern about how it is handled. Email hello@neonmedia.ca and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some records may need to be kept where law or legitimate business needs require it.

Updates to this policy

We may revise this notice when our website, services, or privacy practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
